Patek only made 10,600 of that movement between 1940-50

Around the year 2000, Patek Philippe had made less than 600 000 watches - all kinds, sizes, complications, - THE LOT!!! Ever since 1839! Hardly surprising that only 10600 of that movement were made.

Lovely watch! (Almost!) worth dying for.....

Amazing, probably Seiko makes more than 600.000 watches per year!

On other web sites people tell me that Patek has made a mistake with the reference number in the extract.
It should be 1480 not 1486.
It makes much sense because when searching the web with ref. 1480 i found some watches that look similar to mine.

    Hi there,

the 9'''-90 was a hot runner for Patek Philippe conditions. 17,788 were made between 1934 and 1960.
