    picked this up for cheap.

My watchmaker sold this to me for $15 because he thought it would be good for me to tinker with. However I got it home and it was running fine and keeping decent time. Although I have never heard of this company before it caught my eye. I don't have too much info on it besides it's nothing special and somewhat hard to find movement (EB 8387-66) pin lever

it cracks me uo to see a 30yr old+ 'Sheiffeild' chronostop or "waterproof' dive watch because I've heard so many comments from the peanut gallery that this 1 jewel lever -pin are such trash yet I have at leas 4-5 running pretty dang well. I think Kingston is the other big 'english' sounding bran that made these big clunky chron and chrono complications

    Ah, the pre-quartz quartz watch!

The kinds of movements we normally talk about here were never built in the numbers these pin levers were... It is good to see some nice looking survivors. They can be a source of great pre-bling bling!

Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?

If its running I wouldnt even bother trying to tinker with it, thats how these pin levers break. Makes me laugh when I have a pocket watch that still runs and runs and runs.
