Pierce 1940s one button chrono and Vintage flea market in Covent Garden
I'm a newbie here but have started collecting watches for the last few years. I was at a local jeweller and came across this 1940s vintage pierce one button chrono in fantastic condition and needless to say was quite tempted!
Do you guys perhaps know what is the ideal price range for this one? The jeweller quoted £800 but was happy to negotiate.
Second question - I was at the flea market in Covent Garden this morning and saw lots of interesting watches at fantastic price point. Of course there are no warranties with these watches but just wanted to know whether anyone had experience buying from this place.

1) Knowledge is power... I'd certainly be willing to negotiate at that price!! (i.e. seems quite high).
2) Condition Condition Condition... always assume the watch will require service which will often double or triple the actual price.
