I was offered this 1897 model Waltham for pretty small money.
I seen that some of these particular models can sell for anything from 150 - 200USD roughly.
But this particular watch is pretty distinct from the others I came across.
Its a pretty nice piece all in all.
All though I have not had the chance to see the hallmarks up close to identify the cases origin.
I would still say its solid silver.
What baffles me with watch is that the dial is not signed, is this common???
And is this kind of dial common also?
I have seen a few similar dials here and there whilst browsing the web, but unfortunately don't have a clue what they are called so I have no grounds to conduct my search from.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
