Please help me find a part

Hello my erstwhile chums, I have a watch at one of my watchmakers and he's after a part for it.

The watch in question is a Seamaster Calendar with a 503 cal inside, it a genuine black dial and I'm keen to see it working again.

The part he's after is an Hour wheel, to be honest I don't really know what this is but he needs one.

If anyone has one or can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it

    Matt

The Omega part number for a cal503 hour wheel is 502 / 1231.
    The Cousins code is
OME5021231 however it says 'restricted' whatever that means

    Hello

    Try this one

OMEGA Hour Wheel #1231 for Omega Cal. 470! | eBay

    It is for Cal 470

    Cal. 470 is the basis for 471, 490, 491, 500, 501, 502, 503, 504 and 505 and most parts will fit these later movements.

For my Cal501, I used parts from Cal. 470

As for restricted, that just means only a somebody that has a parts agreement with Omega can get them

    Good luck

i could be wrong but I think the hour wheel on the 503 (1.9)is higher than the 470 (1.6)to clear the date window/ indices

Could do with a parts wanted sticky like they have in the Russian forum, just think how many of us have parts bucket that could help others bring a vintage watch back to life.
