Please help me identify these 2 watches!!!

    Hi all,
I was at an auction recently and I picked up a mix bag of old jewelry (all rubbish) and watches (just the face and the mechanism). I thought it was going to be a big waist of time but I found these watches in it, Can I please get some help Identifying it and suggestions on what I should do with them. I know the tudor and Omega but not sure what model or year they would be from. I had someone suggest that someone would have melted down the case for the gold. If so I think it is a huge shame. I wound 2 of them and they ticked (Tudor and Omega) the pocket watch is self winding and ticks when moved, I guess that is a good start (i hope). The pocket watch has a bent minute hand and the others are all quiet small around the size of a US 5 cent piece (14-15 mm) Please HELP!!

    Thank you in advance

The pocket watch is absolutely not self winding (automatic). It's a stem wound movement, with th stem broken or missing. With 3 adjustments, it's more than decent though. Both the Tudor and the Omega are... Or rather were ladies' watches from the late 1950s- early 1960s. I can't see the serial number on the Omega. The case of the Omega had a reference number on the case back, which would have been the key to identifying the watch if the case was there.

    Better close-up pictures are needed.

BTW, I'm counting 4 watches, not two.

Ye my bad you are right there are 4, not 2 it was a typo. I will try to upload better pics tonight when I'm back from work. I haven't had a proper look with the pocket watch just when I pick it up and move it it starts ticking again. What would you suggest o do with the watches? I feel bad letting them just sit I'm my draw.

I don't see anything "earth shattering" (my opinion) in these movements, so you might consider just listing them as "parts movements" online. There are various sites where you can do this relatively easily.

Can you suggest one or 2 of them. As I said I am new to this. Also a suggested amounts on them I assume the tufdor and omega are worth a little more?

If you give me the sites I will run through them and try to find out more.

We're not allowed to give valuations here but you can always check out ebay's current and closed listings to see what they're going for.

That will probably be the fastest way for you to turn them over.
