Well, the case for sure isn't Patek Philippe as it isn't signed by PP. The movement is suspect as well since it doesn't have the Geneva Seal, and missing "Adjusted to 5 Positions and Temperatures" engraving on the movement plate. The dial is refinished.

So, this is a put together Patek Philippe which I wouldn't want to spend my hard earn money on.

Re: please help me to recognize this vintage patek philippe

The movement layout is Patek alright, the general quality of it (a fine regulator, mobile stud carrier...) wouldn't suggest a fake movement. Vintage Patek wristwatch movements are rarely faked convincingly, and I think that this one is a wee bit too convincing.

I wouldn't immediately go as far as calling it a redial. I'm by no means anything of a Patek expert, but there does seem to be a fair bit of PPs with font like that out there.

The case is something to worry about, though. It's not a Patek case. Nor is it a Swiss case at all, it's missing the gold hallmark and the poinçon de maitre. It isn't a British case either, no assay office stamp or import mark. The only markings that it has don't convince me.

While I wouldn't call it a fake, I'd suspect a recased movement and dial, and that said- a possible frankenwatch.

The movement looks like a PP Cal. 23-300:

So did you get a good deal? Looks ok as far as movement goes, dial possibly, and case still looks nice and should be gold despite not being original.
