    Pocket Watch 100 Years +

    Hi new to the forum just been passed down this pocket watch from my dad who was givn to him by his dad, who my Grandad was given to him by is dad who was given to him by a prince who was givin it by a french account i.e. (royilty) can anybody help thanks dan

    Hi! The watch is a fairly typical low to mid-grade Omega from around 1910, in what looks to be a poorly maintained gunmetal-style case. As far as my history knows, the French "nobility" ceased to exist as such in 1870 (many decades before this watch was made). That might explain why he was giving out such pedestrian watches.
