    Adam Vintage Reputable?

Has anyone ever bought a pocket watch from AdamVintage.com? I am looking at one and just want to be sure they are reputable and legitimate and offer original pocket watches. Thank you!

I bought a wristwatch from him once, and it was ok. But that doesn't mean that everything he sells is legit, so you might want to show photos.

I just bought a VINTAGE 1919 ILLINOIS BUNN SPECIAL 21 JEWEL 16S PROFESSIONAL RAILROAD POCKET WATCH from AdamVintage.com. I talked to Adam and he assured me everything is original and told me he is member of a pocket watch association. I don't have it yet, and I have no reason to doubt it's an original, but I wanted to provide a link to the pictures from him below so you all can double check for me. I'll probably open it to make sure again when I get it. Thanks everyone!

This should help you verify the date of production:

Everything I read on his website matches up to what the pocket watch database says as far as I saw.

If you love it, got it for a decent price and when you receive it you can tell that it has been cleaned up and serviced since the photos were taken, then that's what matters. Price seems high IMO.

I love the dial but the photos of the movement are less inspiring. There appears to be some rust under the balance, and several fingerprints scattered around. The hour and minute hands are also rusty (they were blued steel originally). Hopefully the watch has been serviced and those details attended to.

Hamilton Electric he told me it was serviced recently when I talked to him today. On the page it says serviced July 2018. He also said every watch undergoes a 24 hour check before it goes out to the customer. He said he has in house watch repair. As far as rust I'm not for sure.
