    pocket watch identification

    Hello People,
Newbie here with a question which i hope you may be able to help with.
The first is a French silver cased Jules Girod.
The second is a movement that is engraved with the name, Sargent, London, 1722
I have tried to find information about these but no luck.I would like to know anything about these.
I have added a couple of pics.
    Thank you for any help
    Regards Bob

Jules Girod Manufacturer of watchmaking. Mentioned in Geneva Terreaux de Chantepoulet( Singing chicken) 36 in 1844.
fusee with overcoil were after 1860 so I think it can be Benjamin Sargent High Street Hastings Sussex 1862/70. and after London. St Leonards 1878

    Hey Geoff!!

Really silly question, please do not mind it.

What do you mean by moved to the pocket watch forum ? Is there a separate forum for pocket watches for I can only see a forum for vintage and pocketbooks together.

    Thank you,
    ns

I'm not sure where you posted originally, but you are in the right place now - Vintage and Pocket Watches.
