    Pocket Watch Storage

OK, so I've started my pocket watch collection. I'm curious about what is considered the safest material for the beauties to be stored in. I'm talking about something that won't scratch open faced watches or interact with gold, silver, stainless, etc. cases.

I've got a little felt & cardboard jewellery box that I keep my Waltham in, although ideally a pocket-watch is housed on a wire stand.

You should search the bay, sometimes you can find some really nice boxes made for pocket watches.

something like this (pic from the bay):

Wire stand or pocket watch box. I use both.
