    Rolling eyes A possible redial? - vintage Omega

    Hi guys. Found this piece on ebay. I have a feeling that its a real good redial. Any thoughts?

    the extended R at the end of the seamaster is not consistent with other 50's model that i've seen. I am trying to post another photo of it but the image is too large.

    That might have something to do with the fact that most watches posted here are considered redials until proven innocent

    As long as it's well done I have no problem with it and without redials through the years Omega watches would be so expensive not many could afford one today.

    I'm going to have a 1949 Omega dial fixed up next month as it will make it wearable again and make someone very happy.

    That I will and I might just break even on it but I'm not sure if I should service it myself or just sell it as an un serviced watch and have the new owner take care of that part taking it to a proffesional.

    if you have a look at the ebay link tho, you will find the caseback serial number - 2964. Cross checked it with omega vintage database and have found a few discrepancies
