    My response there:

    Well they did describe it as non-running and basically just a display piece. Non-running to me would be everything that is normally operational, isn't. I know when I buy something that isn't running, that's exactly what I expect with the hopes that I can get it running myself.

    Responded in the clock thread. Buyer hid behind "as is" and used a limited description.

    Good for you to offer to do a partial refund for parts. If it was me...I would have given you that happily.
