Off Topic post Purcahsed 1950s Ulysse Nardin - opinions on authenticity

Hello guys! This is my first post on this website, but I've been into vintage watches for about a year. My newest purchase is a Ulysse Nardin Chronograph. See pics:

I should be receiving it soon so I'll get to feel it out hands on - but the seller is allowing returns, so I wanted to see if I could get a consensus of whether the dial and hands etc look legitimate.

I think it's a beautiful watch - but I'm not 100% on the logo for this period, as I can't seem to find one similar after searching the net. Shame the seller doesn't have pics of the movement either - otherwise I could perhaps have a better search around.

Anyway, all input will be gratefully received. Opinions, and perhaps if it is a legitimate watch some suggestions on identifying it?

I look forward to hearing from you! Ollie - thanks :)

Hands are replacements, and it is almost certainly a redial. I hope that the seller's word is good...

...and in case of Ulysse Nardin it rarely is.

After all, some 99% of UNs that we see here are South American fakes.

I'd like to see the movement inside, but my gut feeling tells me, that it'll be a Landeron 48 with fake engravings.

Ollie, welcome to watchuseek and F11, where we almost never see a legitimate UN (and I'm afraid this is no exception).

It does seem that this chrono will have a few issues.
If this one does not work out for you...well, there's next time! Michael.

Would you have any idea what the model number would be for me to find the correct hands etc?

As predicted by @mkws, a Landeron 47/48 or some such, and not very well finished.

Just read something, which sheds a bit of light on the origins of this particular fake UN:
    https://www.fratellowatches.com/buye...-on-the-loose/

This watch is featured on the list of the pricey fakes that a certain bunch of fakers have recently sold...
