This PW movement deserves to be refurbished ???

Hello There. My weakness, pocket watches.
Another one that I collected from flea market and which at first sight seem like dead, without hope. However I decided to give him some attention. It was full of rust, which would put each of us in a position to give up its refurbishment. At this point still does not work smoothly, it seems to be a problem with the wheel Anker, but I think it deserves another chance. With a diameter of 42mm, bears no signature, only a number and a stapm with PU. Does anyone know what type of movemnt is and what it might mean PU.
    thanks in advance

Looks a little like something made for Jules Jurgensen (as far as I know, they didn't make any of their own movements but had them made specifically for themselves according to their specifications; others with more knowledge may contradict me here). Going by the quality of the movement, I would be inclined to recommend restoration, going by the state of the movement, I would say it's too far gone. Also, the fact that it is only a movement rather than a whole watch weighs quite heavily against restoration.

At this point rust was removed, I checked the functionality of train wheels. The dial is one of ceramic. It was probably a gold case and at one point was sold. I think that those initial PU present on movement might give some information about who did this movement.
    Thanks Harmut Richter .

Great job! Since the movement has changed colour: did you (re-)rhodinate it or did you remove the gold plating and find German silver instead of brass underneath?

Base metal is brass. I applied a new coat of Rhodium.
    Thanks for the appreciation
