    Quality 12s 21j Rockford

    A recent arrival:

Under the devastated dial, a fine movement:

I've replaced the dial with a better one I happened to have in my box:

And took a case bought for the movement:

    Effect:

And the wonderful 21 jewel movement, adjusted to 5 positions:

Just another one in my fancy 12s collection...
    Have a great day!!!

    Here's the other one...
Found on German ebay, having a rather unusual (for a 12s model) Montgomery dial...
The hands are Swiss replacement NOS parts.

I've recased it in a nice, 20yr Keystone case:

The movement is a late piece from circa 1913. 17 jewel Adjusted mid grade...

    ...with nice, wavy pattern :)

And the last 12s I bought:

Apparently, the minute hand is wrong...

    The case:

...is a Rockford signed case. I don't know who made it, was it the Rockford WCCo (I don't even know when they operated...) or, which seems likely to me, made by some other maker for Rockford...

The watch features a rather basic 15j movement, with brass escape wheel (the higher grades all had steel) and nice, but simple, wavy damaskeening. A cheaper model, with very nice, high quality look to it. Also - it's in pretty decent shape, with just some scratches around case screws...

So just to finish this one for now (at least in my case) - the two other Rockfords I have. I'm not sure if I ever posted them here, on WUS...

The first one is a nice, 15j Adjusted model 3 with adorable finish:

And the other is a 0 size wristwatch, probably cased in 1920s...

OK - these are all Rockfords I have for now :)
Post some if you have :)
