    Question Question

Hi i was given two watches from nana, I was hoping someone would be able to tell me if they are worth anythign at all?

1 Looks gold says Ricoh and 17jewels on it. Very small face on the watch - thats all the information on the watch!

2- Just a face watch looks like it could be rose gold. Has normal face watch but also a little one inside which I think is for seconds? Has a beautiful design around the edge.there is no name or anything?

    :thanks

Value = sentimental, if Gold = spot price.

    Re: Question

Unless exceptional (e.g Rolex, Vacheron Constantin) there is a very low demand for vintage ladies' watches - particularly the smaller ones. Most collectors are men; most women prefer larger watches. On the other hand, they were your nana's - so precious (maybe) to you. The second one sounds quite old and pretty.

    Re: Question

I agree with Marrick. The value will be mostly sentimental. If you are considering using them, get them serviced, even if they are currently running. The Ricoh, if it is still in resonable shape, should be a good watch for everyday use. The other might be good for a best watch.
