Question about this vintage Eberhard chronograph

Hi everyone, I was recently offered this seemingly minty vintage Eberhard chronograph allegedly from 40s/50s the and is very tempted to pull the trigger. But I cannot say with 100% confidence that everything about this watch checks out, so would very much appreciate any advice from you guys.

One thing that caught my attention is the logo, which appears to be of a later era. Should I be concerned? Is there anything else I should be paying attention to?

    Thank you!

Re: Question about this vintage Eberhard chronograph

It could be a redial with a more modern logo (although the dial does look quite genuine - no obvious signs of redialling). Or it could be a more recent watch done up in the old style ("retro" watch). Until we see what is inside, it would be difficult to come to a definite conclusion.

Thanks for the advice! I'll ask for a movement and caseback shot then.
