    Question for those who work on chronographs..

    I bought this back in 2008.. nice Breitling with a 7730 movement, but with a bad dial:

    I always believed that this watch is in the wrong case, the back has the wrong model number on it. Anyway, I have kept an eye out for a nice replacement dial for years and finally found this one:

    This was a great fix for this watch, but there was a problem. Can anyone figure out what it is?

    Times up! lol The recording sub dial needs to be for 45 minutes, not 30! I didn't notice that until today.. haha So here is the question.. I know I can buy a replacement 30 minute recorder gear for a reasonable price, but do I need to also buy the gear that pushes it?

    Yes, since both wheels must have the same pitch.
