    Question on Vulcain Watches.

I am looking at a beautiful Vulcain from the 60's. From what I have read these watches have always been associated with a Swiss company. However the site has the following in the description
1960's Vulcain Base Gold Color Metal and Stainless Steel Back with Original Dial. Triple Signed. Hong Kong.
I am a little confused by this as the dial has 'Swiss Made' on it. Can anyone shed some light on this?

    Re: Question on Vulcain Watches.

I spoke with the dealer and found out the answer to this question. According to his source these watches were assembled in Hong Kong to make them more affordable. However, the movement was made in Switzerland.

    Re: Question on Vulcain Watches.

This is probably not the same Vulcain watch company as we now it today...
I had divers Vulcain chronograph with Valjoux 23 from 50's or 60's and it was swiss made
