Questions about a Hafis bumper watch

I recently acquired a Hafis 15j wrist watch from the swamp. It arrived and appears to keep good time. The dial I am fairly sure is original. The hands I am less certain. I found 1 picture on the NAWCC forum of a similar or more modern version and the deteriorated second hand appeared to be red.
Due you think this watch is late 1940s or 1950s?
Does any one own a similar watch?
It has second marked 1-60 inside the hour marks. Do you think it was marketed as a doctor watch?
i think the company made watches from 1920 to 1970.

It looks to be an AS movement from this family: bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: AS 1250

I'd guess at late 40's - but I can't answer your other questions. I like the dial a lot.

By similar do you mean style or manufacturer?
The watch has a direct sweep seconds hand and shock protection therefore I really think 50s.

"marketed as doctors watch"? I doubt it, not only doctors used seconds.
PS: Its a nice looking watch

Thanks Marrick for the movement AS 1250 link. I did find a 1949 magazine advertisement which I think is the same watch. I also noted that during this time period Hafis frequently numbered each second. So, it appears that it was sold as a every day watch. By similar watch I meant a Hafis watch from the 1940-50s.
