    Questions about Waltham Trench watch

    Hello

I am wondering if you can help me with this watch. Based on the serial number, it appears to be from 1902. I am interested in any information about it, especially whether these watches were made with radium.

    Thank you

(Sorry if these are noob questions)

Well, it doesn't look like it has any type of material on the dial or hands to make it glow, so I wouldn't be worried about that. Looks like a nice porcelain dial, can't tell you if the hands are original. A movement picture would sure help
Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none.

That's really not a trench watch (IMHO), that's a cushion shaped watch. Trench watches are usually round with wire lugs. Your watch would have been made from an old pocket watch so it should have pocket watch hands.. maybe something like this..

Nice watch. The style of the case makes me think of the 20s

Thank you for the information. I saw this watch on an auction site and passed on it. I am interested in this kind of watch, and will wait for a one with original hands.
