Size: 259.5 KBWebb Ball never was a manufacturer but sold many made for him with his design preferences by most U.S. and some Swiss producers. He bought 1911 a large Chicago wholesale jewelry business Norris and Alister. I have his 1916 big catalog that includes most American p.w. and w.w. detailed info and list prices. Jewelry stores would use this big fancy well illustrated book with customers. By 1916 Ball was managing that sales division. Got only 4 pages for Ball watches, but many pages of the major U.S. producers.Attachment 672061Name: IMG_9820a.jpg

Another great find! They weren't cheap were they? Ephemera like this catalog provide context to collections. Thanks for posting! (Did one pic not make it??)
"Forever is composed of nows." - Emily Dickinson

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

Size: 749.6 KBNext to last page shows on my screen of 4 pages almost complete. I try to get maximum acceptable resolution . With my old overloaded laptop I find loading this forum is slow and works best with one at a time and low resolution. Results generally fine. however.
