Interesting watch. I haven't seen anything like it.

Jeweled dials were popular in the 1950s. Checkered dials were less common but were also a 1950s style. The case style also looks 1950s .. so I'm going to suggest it's a watch from the 1950s :)

I have seen the Relide name on movement's inside watches before but can't specifically remember in which ones. I have a couple Monarch's so it may have been inside them.

The Monarch's I've seen use A Schild movements so there's a good chance yours will have one.

It's hard to tell from your photos, but it looks like a two-tone case. It also looks like all the plating is worn off and the gold coloured parts is the brass sub-metal showing.

Here's a pic of my Relide watch. The stone at the top of the index is missing, but being replaced. The case of my watch is goldplated - slighty worn out - and the rim of the dial in sight is delicately pattern engraved. The back cover of the watch on the other end has no engravings at all. Case and back cover may not be original, but movement and dial are. However, i love this watch

Case on the first watch in the thread was Forties as were the hands. I would say your case could be a little later but likely still original.
