    RENIS GENEVE with battry ?

    I got a RENIS GENEVE , after open the back case, it's with Battery Powered up, please help me to identify this watch

    Can't say too much. The whole principle (electronically driven balance wheel) was invented by Hamilton AFAIK in the fifties. I presume that the make must have had a license to use this system.

    These ESAs were used in a lot of watches in the 60s and 70s. Hamilton stopped making their own 500 series and used them too.

    After compare and check it's more like ETA-ESA 9150 Dynotron, bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: ETA-ESA 9150 Dynotron, mine stamped with 12357289, Y2, 60, 430, Swiss, 13 Jewels unadjusted.

    Renis is a brand that seems to be associated with South America. At least, that is where most examples on ebay originate. Possibly it was a South American-owned brand that ordered watch made in Switzerland, rather like Invicta in that same era. Your watch was probably made in the early to mid 1970s.

    The ESA 9154 is very much a built-to-a-budget movement (not in the same league as Citizen and Seiko electro-mechs) but it is transistor-switched and fast-beat so it is capable of decent accuracy.
