    Repairing a balance wheel??

I have an Admiral pocket watch I have disassembled as it was not working and the balance wheel shaft (that it rotates on) is worn down. Is there a place that I can send the wheel to and have them pull out the old shaft and pressin a new one in of the correct length and thickness? Forgive this question if it is ignorant as I am mechanically oriented but have never repaired pocket watches before.

    Thanks!

The balance staff is somthing you need to have replaced by a watchmaker because it needs exact mesurements but it's routine for them.

There is a lot of work if you need to make a new staff as well.

Is there a chance that someone out there has a stock of repaired or used Admiral balance wheels and I can buy one or is the only way to repair it to get it to a watch maker?
I think that problem is that the repair of the balance wheel will be at least twice the value of the working watch!
