    Request for IDs

I recently bought a group of watches and am trying to figure out who the sucker was in the deal.... the seller, or me. It's not enough money to worry about so I'll have fun with it either way.

The bottom watch is the one that has me curious and I am sure I've seen a couple recently posted on WUS but have no idea where to start looking for them. I also added another just for the heck of it.

Sorry it's the best I can do for pics until I receive them.

It's hard to make out these watches. Is the bottom watch a Gruen Curvex?

Good call! That was a name mentioned in the sale. I only became more interested in watches about a year ago so am really only familiar with the more popular modern brands. So buying a group of older watches is definitely outside my element, but I love rolling the dice, but usually it's coins, something I know a little more about.

Keep us updated, and if you do have a Gruen Curvex then I know there
are people in here who know these watches and hold them in high regard.
    Good luck.

Yeah I'll definitely be back. It was a good size lot I purchased... very poor condition for most, but will be fun to sort through.

I have a printed publication on ID'ing Gruen watches if you want something that focuses just on them (only trying to help, not market)

I'm one of those hold-them-in-high-regard guys.
