    The Reserection of El Premiero

Interesting thread in Public for folks who like bringing watches back from the dead... You may find it interesting.
"Forever is composed of nows." - Emily Dickinson

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

The PR was incidental. Smart man - certainly, but in this case genuine.

I saw that and loved it. That's the most satisfying feeling - like finding a trashed Cézanne and restoring it to glory.... except you get to wear it all day.

    LOL "Reserection"

That really should be a real word, just not for what the topic was about.

    Great story though.

Never intended to suggest otherwise! It is right that such unusual generosity should garner some attention.

I love to hear things like this. An amazing watch resto, it's drop dead gorgeous.
