My daughter has just been given an old watch by her Grandmother and we would love to know more about it. I have searched the forum and tried looking for information on the web but have not really got anywhere.
All I seem to have is that the date mark looks like a Birmingham year mark for 1914. The .925 is obvious, but I can find nothing about the other marks.
The runs and keeps to time, but only if laid flat with the face down, any other position and it stops!
If anybody can tell me more about it, such as the maker, the material for face, and whether it is worth getting repaired so that it works at all angles, we would be really grateful.
