Seeking insights on my vintage Tudor Oyster shock resisting

    Hi there,

I am seeking some info on my Tudor watch. I only know that it is a Tudor oyster shock resisting calibre 2422 and with 17 jewels. 35 mm w/o crown.

Any indication on date, background of the model (oyster shock resisting), etc will be very much appreciated. Does all of it looks original? Also is this a valuable piece? (not asking necessarily for price indication.. just want to have a better understanding of the value of what I own and if will gain value through time as I dont want to sell it :)

    Thanks for the help!

Hi, I think the only bit I can help with is to tell you that there are usually a few of these floating around on the 'bay so that should give you an idea of current values and if you look at the pictures perhaps a reference to what average conditions are.
Yours looks in good condition to me BTW

Serial number dates it to 1968.

Yes that is the serial No, should be engraved between lugs at '6' o'clock.
number between lugs at '12' o'clock is the model no.
    I think /0 = stainless steel
