    Seiko?

I bring you another grainy photo of a watch whose identify I am trying to determine (apologies for the low res photo; it's from the seller). I believe the blue faced watch is a Seiko. The question is can anyone tell if a) it's vintage; and b) model type? There also appears to be a Gruen in the same photo, but cannot tell for sure.

As always, I appreciate your insights.

Thanks. What do you call that type of bracelet? Does it look original to the watch?

It is called a train track bracelet or Railroad bracelet. It is a Seiko bracelet but it should be on the Seiko 6139-601X. Originals are sought after. I don't think that any other Seiko had this bracelet but I could be wrong

Here is a internet pic of a seiko 6139-6012 with this type of bracelet

Thanks Journeyforce. I found a photo of what appears to be a NOS watch that is very similar to the one I originally posted. This one also has the train track bracelet, so there is a good chance the one on the watch I posted is original. Will know more when I try to pick it up.Name: IMG_1687.PNG

    Re: Seiko?

I picked it up. Manufactured in March 1972. Dial says 6106-7680. What does the second set of numbers (7680) refer to? They are different from the second set on the caseback. The bracelet is signed and tend to believe is original. It ticked when I first moved it, but has now stopped. It's not in bad shape. I like the blue dial. Doubt the box is original, but let me know if think otherwise. If I keep this one I might switch the bracelet out for a NATO.
