Seiko 5 - Gold filled or plated?

I picked this up at an estate sale. I am trying to determine whether it's gold filled. There is no wear on the bezel or front of the case (the caseback is SS) suggesting it is more than plated (or it could be a heavy plating). Where would I find a marking that says it's gold filled? By the way, it runs and the quick date set works great. It says "waterproof" so I am inferring it was made before 1972.

    Thanks all

I can't imagine a watch being gold filled and not being marked as such on the caseback. Possibly gold plated but even that I would think would be marked in some way i.e. SGP or electroplate etc. I was never quite sure what material is referred to as gold toned?

The verdict is in. I had it acid tested, and it's gold filled. I agree, Giotime. It's unusual that it isn't marked as such.

Usually if the case back is SS the case is gold plated and is not specified as it is for the GF.
