    Seikosha Extra Flat Pocket Watch

I recently purchased this pocket watch. It is in wonderful condition and I really love the color combination. But I have been not able to find much information here or on the web about Seikosha Extra Flat or its movement. The only picture I have found that looks similar but in a different color pattern claims to be from the late 30s. Can anyone offer any help in dating the watch or specific Seikosha caliber?

    An interesting watch.

I found one Seikosha Extra Flat example with the same movement referred to as a cal. 117.

Railroad watch? I realize it's Japanese and they do things differently over there, but it looks like a basic 7 jewel watch adjusted to just 3 positions. Also take a close look at the J G R on the dial, looks rather crude to me.

Maybe so. It was not sold to me as a railroad watch. I thought those were personal initials carved into the dial when I bought it.
