Service Advice for Vintage Pocket Watch

I have inherited a pocket watch (Ancre Leeves Visibles double Plateau) from my grand father which needs service, and I would like to know whether or not the value of this vintage pocket watch (circa 1891) could be negatively affected if restored with non original spare parts (needed parts will be specially made by service center). In this case the company that manufactured the watch (Germinal) has been out of the market for a long time and parts are not available.

    Thank you!

If the watch doesn't work, that negatively affects the value. But it's unusual to see parts being specially made for a watch like that. What parts are they talking about? If its something like a balance staff, they probably aren't making it, they're probably modifying a existing staff. Something like that won't impact value. Plates and bridges might though.
