Seiko as well..not really a wind-up either, more of a self winder.

I wind this up whenever I sit near it...

I have been keeping it wound and find it has changed characteristcs. It probably should be adjusted but that probably won't happen. It was loosing 20/30 spd when I carried it in a watchpocket for several days. I'll try regulating it again.

It seems to me that storage and shipping of mechanical watches affects the timing of the watch. (And the better the watch movement, the less this is true.)

I find re-regulating watches several weeks after you start using them regularly produces a more accurate timepiece. this fellow needs it... but it still always gets the minutes right.

Today I am wearing an early TAG-Heuer Dubois Depraz based chronograph. This one has an Eta quartz base (but I do have one based on a winder- an ETA 2892-2 ... and I just bought the modern equivalent: a DD chron 'complication' wedded onto an ETA 2892-A2... this Heuer moderating is getting expensive!! )

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!
