    Show your vintage chronos!

After purchasing my Seiko 6139-6000 Speedtimer a few months ago, I have been in a 70's chrono mood lately. Please post some pics of your favorite vintage chronos from any era.

    Here's mine:

I like the GP chrono, Mr. Rick. I just purchased one that is @ my watchmaker for a full service. Does yours have the EP40-68 movement like mine? I think mine is from very early 80's. Dial says Gallet by Racine, and case back & mov't are branded Gallet.

Yes, definitely nice. You'll notice, however that your movement is designated the 40-68. EP made the following models: EP4, EP40, EP4-68 and the EP40-68. Now I can't tell what the difference is, except I do know some have two subdials and others have three, but I've seen various models with the same mov't and running both two and three subdials. This is a borrowed photo of my EP40-68, as mine is at the watchmaker:

And since I'm in the mood, here's another of my very favourite Gallet's. EP40 movement, 12-hour recording capacity, circa 1953.

I wear this one fairly often. I firmly believe vintage watches should be enjoyed, not living out their lives in a strong box...
