    Silvana with AS1130

Got this today - in a small batch of watches, mostly ladies, and described as 'working'. It is a Silvana with the famous AS1130 bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: AS 1130 the
Wehrmachtswerk which was supplied to the German army in WW2. Silvana was on of the suppliers - but there's not much about the company anywhere. There website is a one pager. silvana watch

Anyway, it was very dirty on the outside, had a broken stretchy strap, and a scratched crystal. The lugs are 17mm and this is the only strap I have that fitted reasonably.

Looks like it turned out very nicely! I have an inherited BWC with an AS 1560 - one of the 1130 derivatives, this one with date feature, that's waiting to be serviced sometime so I can wear it.

This watch looks to be in very good condition and it's a good looker, you cleaned it up well.
Really like this AS movement with its massive balance and moveable stud carrier.
