    It's a nice 1954 Seamaster, ref. 2791:

Your watch is gold plated, not goldcap like the one in the OVD, but that only changes the two letters preceding the reference number, the ref. no. as found on the case back remains unchanged.
The watch in the OVD photo has a different dial, but the ref. no. on your watch is 2791-4, which means that the watch existed in four or more dial versions. The fifth number, after the dash, could even exceed ten in some models. Quite a lot of sub-versions of one model, no?
In my opinion, a genuine Omega with an untouched dial in excellent condition.

All looks good, except crown seems to be an Omega replacement.

Thank you all for the feedback and good help.
Is it a gold plated one? It is not my watch, yet, but looking at the photos, the lugs seems to be steel only on the back side....Or, maybe it is just me and my lack of understanding Omegas.

Ahh... Missed the steel back of the lugs. It's goldcap then, and that makes it the same watch as in the OVD- a ref. KO 2791.
I've initially identified it as gold plated- my bad.

    Thanks for the reply.
Well, then I did learn something today also.
Think I will have a closer, longer, look at the watch. I do like it.
