Question Some information about old LEONIDAS Silver Pocket Watch

    Hello,
I found this Leonidas watch, it has been on my grandfather, but I don't know anything about it.
It will be great and very nice if someone know something about this model pocket watch, like year of
production ( I think that is around 1915 ), some history and if I decide to sell it what will be the guide price.
Please, check the picture which I made.
There are marking on the cover which are: "ST" , "0.800". And "Leonidas" , "M" on the mechanism.
From the behind of the watch has very interesting relief image, which
I think represents something from the 1916 Summer Olympics in Berlin.
    Thanks in advance. Best Regards.

    Hi and welcome
The company has a long history of watchmaking as far back as 1903
That said, I did not find anything to answer your questions.
    Hopefully someone can
Its a very nice old watch

I do not think is correct. written in Latin is "peace through peoples" and in the shield I read the French word "La Haye" there are some French cities with this name, and also used for the Dutch city The Hague or Den Haag

Not so sure that may not have some Olympic connotation

When I see pax inter populos ("peace among nations") and Den Haag, I would immediately think of the International Court of Justice which is located in Den Haag and was founded in 1945. It therefore looks a little like it might be a commemorative piece to celebrate the founding of the ICJ. The trouble with that theory is that the watch doesn't look like it's from as late as 1945.....

    Any other offers?
