    Something modest but interesting...

Picked up this Invicta Rotomatic from the flea market. The condition of the dial is poor but the watch works fine. What interests me is the "125th Anniversary" inscription & the fish logo on the back. This 41 Jewels watch was manufactured during the 'Jewel War'.
    The movt is AS 1700/01.

Ah yes the "Jewel War" one of the least known episodes from Star wars, where the Sith went all out to prove that more jewels made a better Light Sabre but were eventually defeated by the Rebellion forces and their Ancient Fusee powered Blasters who were joined by the Wookiees and their Tuning fork Cross bows or am I just on the wrong track here?.....Any way Nice find Enjoy it and wear it as a homage to the brave Rebellion forces.
