    South Bend Pocket Watch

I got my South Bend Pocket watch back from service and am very happy with the results! This is a South Bend, Model 1, Grade 407, 15 Jewel, nothing too fancy but a good looking watch just the same.

Nice dial. How does it run?
"Forever is composed of nows." - Emily Dickinson

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

I set it when I got it, I'll check when I get home....I would hope since it was just fully serviced it should be fairly good.

I love the dial. Thanks for showing, it is rare we get to see South Bend or Studebaker watches here.

It's a beautiful watch. How old is it?

About 30 hours it is still with 30 sec of the clock I used to set it which was about how much it was off when I set it. So I think it's running perfect.

That one of the reasons I had it serviced and repaired, it still had a perfect dial, I don't see that many South Bends, the gold filled case shows no wear through....and it was running (badly) when I got it. I like this size better than the larger ones anyway. :thanks
