    Hello,
I don't think the case was entirely highly polished like the picture seems to depict. Other than that, looks like the real thing.

I have a black dial Mark II that I just had refurbished.

Newer bracelet and very over polished case. It should have a starburst brushed finish. Dial looks original. Second hand is wrong, though I have seen these in white on the non-racing dial versions. Caseback is original (but looks very polished -engraving was light to begin with on these -should say "Speedmaster" - later casebacks said "Seamaster"). This is mine.

Hi, yes something looks wrong in the watch... The original case has to be brushed on top and laterals, polished only in between and has a different bracelet. I think that the bracelet should be without intermediate small links and with reference 1162/173 and 1173/173, but I could be wrong...

For the correct pictures, have a look here :

Omega Speedmaster "Mark" Series of Chrongraphs

Very good link for the Mark series of the Speedmaster.

I have one, and the case has never been touched, with time has nearly lost its satin finish. Will have it renewed shortly.

    Saluti.

Here is a picture of mine with an original ad for comparison.
