Spiro Agnew and Affordable Swiss Watches

    Greetings!

I have a spiro Agnew, Swiss Watch, excellent condition as well as a 1970 by affordable swiss mickey mouse watch- and I'm wondering there is any value to these items?

    Both are in excellent condition.

If anyone could help me with online free appraisal / estimate services, that would be wonderful!

    Many Thanks!

These are low cost pin lever movements made with stamped parts. They are more difficult to service than 'real' watches. Indeed, it is difficult to find folks who will even work on them. So it is difficult to raise them to 'wearable' status. They are worth what people will pay for them... with condition and service level being critical to value. Beyond that, scan completed eBay auctions for some idea of what they actually sell for. (One vendor tried to sell one for $1K... never sold. Check only the 'sold' ones.)

Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

    I LOVE THIS!

Many, many years ago a Gahan Wilson cartoon was published in Playboy. Picture a statue of a male nude, with a clock mounted in it abdomen. A man and woman are looking at it, confused, with a salesman speaking: "Believe me. Time can only add value to this Spiro T. Agnew standing hall clock."

On the other hand . . . I can wear another watch!
