Good Monday morning everyone,
After another successful Sunday morning quadro-product vintage procuration yesterday (see my other recent post), I was then able to focus on a very unusual looking offering I had seen.
Said to be a Seiko Champion 850 Seahorse J12085 it has one of the "busiest" dials I have ever seen on a Seiko. I think it has more text than the Gettysburg Address!
But beyond that it is amazingly handsome, to me. Beautiful Bauhaus numeral dial, with very tasteful lume. Perfect-length, well-lumed hands. A striking sunburst dial texture, and lovely patina all around. The case is like new (or super-polished!) and check out the King Seahorse on that oh-so excellent case-back!!
Have YOU ever seen on of these before?
I have to believe it is "real", it is so consistent (if that is the right word) but yet ... ... ... it's unbelievable!
What do you think?
I'm in love, but right now it's like with a "bad" woman who might hurt me!
