    Super Brama....please help

I found a bunch of old watches in my late fathers belongings. One of them is a Super Brama. I have not been able to find out much of anything about this watch. I did find one other like it that had been sold through a vintage dealer. Does anyone know anything about this brand or this watch? :thanks

Sorry - can't find anything about the brand.

Its a nice looking piece though. Any chance of a movement shot? Not for me - but the guys with more expertise might be able to tell you who made the movement and when.

Is the case gold plated or solid gold?

    Super Brama movement....wow!

Not gold or gold plated. Appears to be steel?
I got to see the movement....
The movement is hand etched, reading at the top, Ace Watch Co.
Below that, stamped on the movement, states fifteen jewel swiss, and right beside that, hand etched, states “fifteen”. In the middle reads “unadjusted”. Below the F/S reads “AXB”.
The back inside of the watch reads “Ace Watch Co”, hand etched.

AXB is the Swiss code for the maker but unfortunately it's not listed in the only source I have. Maybe the Euro experts will know more. It looks to me like your watch may be from the 1940s.

From the little bit I've learned, I believe you're right about the date. Now I just need to find a reputable watch person in my area and get it running again!
