    Tara Swiss watch - 60's / 70's ? - info please

I was given this Tara swiss watch with a lot of other random non working pieces last month, it really caught my eye, despite its age the luming was perfect, the second hand and colouring really set it off, it was working but in desparte need of a service and face polish. I've given it to a guy my father in law knows who's an old school watch repairer for him to bring back to life.
Can anyone tell me anything about it, or suggest the type of strap it was originally on? Really looking forward to gettin it back now.
    thanks for any help here...

    Hi
Well this is very interesting indeed.
TARA is a brand of Jura Watch co
History, Jura was a brand name of Louis Brandt & Fils - the founders of OMEGA!

Company was listed in 1966 with an advert illustrating an Agora Sport watch with 15j
In 1986 the company was listed as Jura Watch Co in Delemont.

Nice watch, I owned these two for several years. They were small and had a very loud movement with non-functioning pushers. I ended up trading them for some NATO straps. Your watch looks slightly larger in size, more to my liking...

Bad trade in hindsight - I expect.

Yes I thnk it's about 38mm maybe larger, I've seen some NATO straps in the same colours, it will probably go onto one of those unless I can find a photo of the original.
