    Telda Venus 170

    Hi all! new collector here.
I picked up a cheap (100€) Telda for my collection the other day that I am quite happy with but cant seem to find much info on apart from a post by tomcat1960:

"Telda(from Tramelan, Switzerland) was indeed a brand of Les Fils d'Armand Nicoletand registered April 6, 1932 there (according to mikrolisk.de). They builtbeautiful watches during the 1930s ..."

Does anyone have any more history as google has let me down. Also I have seen these for sale for anywhere between 300 and 1600 before for near the same condition, anyone have any idea what drives the price difference?

What drives the difference is the desire to make money from people who assume that an asking price is in the ball park of market price.

There are plenty of dealers with massively over priced watches.

You are happy and satisfied with the price you paid that is the most important thing. Congrats!
