Testing my new Macro lens with some classics.

    Hope you like...

Two watches - forgive me, I have to look up the specs as I have had them since college (95 or so)... I'll edit this post later with that info..

    Thanks guys!

So it looks like the smaller AWWCO 15 jewel 17229713 serial number watch is from 1908... I keep thinking that I will have to have a 100 year birthday celebration for her!

The other watch is a much larger model with hidden works.. serial 11734194 from 1902. 103 years young!

Both run perfectly and I run them a couple of times a year for fun. I used to carry them occasionally, but now they just sit on the shelf and look pretty.

Obviously a watch forum.. no one has asked the key question.. what camera and what lens?

Yup, I was wondering that myself. I like doing macro photography, and have a Canon 50D with a Sigma 105mm macro for this purpose.

LOL! How could I forget to post that info...

Nikon D300 with 105mm F2.8 Micro Nikkor. Bogen tripod.. :)

I need to work on my lighting - I love your shots - very even and balanced lighting... I was using a small incandescent which makes everything quite yellow toned... so I convert to B&W and pull up contrast and balance shadows in Lightroom.
