    Thanksgiving Watch Giveaway Day 4

Okay, same rules as before, all you have to do is send me a private message stating "I'll take em" and they are yours free of charge. The third PM I receive 11/22/2015 after 8:00 PM Eastern wins the lot. Anyone can play including fellas in Europe. :)

I've ended up with a lot of watches I can't afford to have serviced and some I just don't use but thought some of the great guys on here would enjoy fixing them up. Thanksgiving is my favorite time of year and a lot of the gentlemen on this site have provided new guys like myself with remarkable information and I hope all the winners enjoy their watches.

Day 4 lot includes a presentation Omega that works perfectly but has some bubbling on the dial. It has a plaque 20 case that is almost 25mmx25mm and is a very solid, well built watch with a heavy, glass crystal. The movement is a 625. I borrowed a strap from another watch to show pics but it will be watch only as part of lot.

The next watch is an 8 Day travel clock that has an unusual movement and on the dial says "Le Grande Maison De Blanc Paris" which Googles reveals as a Hotel in Paris. The dial has a beautiful patina and the watch is 65mm w/o crown. The inside case back has PB in rounded rectangle. It was working but now it isn't running.

The third watch is a Caravelle in very nice shape that works great. The case is about 32mm w/o crown and I didn't open the case so I don't know movement info.

That's it for Day 4, good luck!

Sadly, I haven't got a vintage car to install this clock in, but as soon as I find some spare time, I'll try to make a nice, wooden desk case for it. What do you think of this idea, guys?

Spare time? I thought that's what project watches are for.

I think it's a great idea and I am working on a desk case for three of these so it will show three different time zones. I'm going to have a wood frame and then leather wrapped case. I will post pics when I get it done.

The downside to these travel clocks is they cost twice as much as a wristwatch to service but when you can get them all day on Ebay for less than $20 you end up with a nice piece in good, working condition for around $250.

Recently I've been pretty busy, but I'll have these fixed one by one.
