Just the movement.... has a chipped dial and bent hands.... no idea if its running/complete....no stem, no case.... no idea what im going to do with it!

I think I need to stop looking!!!

    You and me both!

I collect 1940's/50's French watches so I've just received a 1970's Swiss in not very good condition and with the incorrect back, why? Because it has a movement I've not seen before! Will I wear it? Doubtful! Do I want it now? Not really! To cap it all I've just bid on a late Westclox, just don't ask me why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow I think I'll seek medical advice

You know the rules. Pics or it didn't happen.

Besides, its probably a nice movement. I am sure it'll look good in a spare case.

Re: Think I may have to go cold turkey.... again!

I bought a watch from a blurred picture for a penny (1p) today.

The description was: Here is a 17 jewels premia watch with black leather strap, it has never been worn but needs a new battery. I don`t think it is an authentic 17 jewel but is a nice looking watch never the less. happy bidding.

Its probably going to cost more for a new battery than its worth.Name: pirate_32x32.png

From what I can tell.... the seller sells jewellery/gold/silver..... plus a bunch of movements! no cases.... I guess they have been stripped for the gold!
